Derelict-Waterloo Past

It stood out as an eyesore for years. When it was abandoned homeless people used it for shelter. The Eurostar terminal, a glittering example of Britain's shining technological future was built right next door to it and Parliament is 500 yards away across the river...but it sat and rotted as cars, trucks, buses and taxis circled it, encrusting it wtih layers of thick shitty London grime.

Until 2006, when they tore it down in about 4 days to make way for a new block of luxury apartments in a city over run with millionaire's apartment blocks...
